For Children

TODDLERS

We offer Li'l Kids Story Time as a 30-minute session, two times a week: 10:30 AM on Mondays and 2 PM on Thursdays. The programs are free of charge, and no pre-registration is needed.

GRADES K - 8

The Calhoun County Naturalist presents a nature program each month for school age children, featuring hands-on learning about nature and all the critters that inhabit it, as well as ideas to help protect our environment. The programs are usually one Monday a month, 3:45-4:45 PM (check Events Calendar for exact date as it may vary), free of charge, and no pre-registration is needed. Program times during the school year are 3:45-4:45 PM, and during the summer, 3-4 PM.

GRADES 3 - 8

Each Friday during the school year, the library offers an Arts or Crafts or STEM program on Fridays from 3:45-4:45 pm. During the summer months, our Arts & Crafts program is a part of the Summer Reading Program offered on an annual basis.
